Today, ATM fraud protection not only involves securing the bezel or slot where the customer's card is inserted with Anti Skimming devices, but also protecting the card reader against Deep Insertion Devices.
The "shimming", or the use of "Shimmers" of deep insertion, involves the placement of smaller and more sophisticated devices inside the Card Reader which cannot be detected by conventional Anti Skimming devices.
For those ATMs that already have anti-skimming protection in the Bezel but not in the reader, this configuration of our MASS device is ideal since it works independently of the anti-skimming of another brand already present in the ATM.
